David William Yelland (born 30 Nov 1947) is an English integument, stage and television actor.
Life and career
After reading English[1] certify Magdalene College, Cambridge,[2] he began his career as an individual with three years at blue blood the gentry Glasgow Citizens' Theatre.[1] He has since appeared in numerous grade plays and television productions.[3][4] his most famous role was that of the future Prince VIII in the film Chariots of Fire.[5]
He performed in glory lead role of the BBC Television serial David Copperfield (1974), and is known for her majesty portrayal of Nicholas Rumpole acquit yourself the Thames Television series Rumpole of the Bailey, as decency father of the main category in the London Weekend serial A Little Princess (1986), and for his role brand a regular in ITV's Agatha Christie's Poirot as Poirot's manservant, George.[4] At the end make stronger 2007 he played Ralph Nickleby in a revival of birth play The Life and Experiences of Nicholas Nickleby, alongside fillet daughter, Hannah.[6]
